    1. Sending gifts from Creekstone

Well I had ordered 4 rib eye and 4 new york cut steaks for a friend of mine who gave me 8 packages of Walleye just caught in South Dakota crystal clear lake. Well he received the wrong steaks. He received steaks that were supposed to go to California. He laughed and said Creekstone was surprised and decided for our friend to keep those steak and they would sent the order we requested. He did try the misshipped steaks and told me they were two of the best steaks him and his wife had eaten. He made these by flash frying in an iron skillet for 3-4 minutes a side then in the oven for (400) 12-15 minutes. They came out great. My friend is also a great customer of 20 years. I will order this type of steak package again. Thank you for taking care of a good friend and customer. on 4th Jun 2017

    2. These Ribeyes were phenomenal!

Recently Creekstone Farms announced they became "certified humane" which means they treat their animals humanely from cradle to grave. As a result I decided to purchase beef from them to support the cause. I'm willing to pay extra to have peace of mind. I also appreciate their products are raised and processed in the U.S. Recently a law was passed in that companies no longer have to identify the country of origin on beef; if I'm eating it, I want to know where the beef is from because I don't want to be eating meat from some subpar country that's not regulated. You won't have to worry about this with Creekstone Farms. The packaging was sturdy and well done and arrived in a timely manner. The meat was tender and delicious; you can tell it's a high quality product. We will definitely be purchasing more going forward. Do yourself a favor and support a U.S. rancher while ensuring the animals are treated humanely, it's a win - win situation! on 11th Feb 2016

How to Grill a Reverse Sear Ribeye - Cooked on a Yoder Smokers YS640 Pellet Cooker

In this video Chef Tom of All Things Barbecue will show you how to reverse sear a ribeye. We start off with an amazing piece of meat, a Creekstone Farms Master Chef Choice Ribeye weighing in at just over 18 oz. ( and season it with one of our favorite steak seasonings, Cattleman's Grill California Tri-Tip Seasoning ( We first smoked this steak at 225ºF on our Yoder Smokers YS640 set for indirect cooking. We placed the steak in the center of the top rack of the cooker. Once it had reached 115ºF internal we moved it over to a second YS640 set up for direct grilling. This grill was set at 400ºF and was over 500ºF at the grates. Once the steak reached an internal temperature of 130ºF we pulled it and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing into it. You can see how evenly the reverse sear cooks a steak, giving a perfect medium-rare from edge to edge with just the right amount of sear and browning on the outside of the steak to release those wonderful meaty flavors.
